The “Your Drinking Water: Challenges and Solutions for the 21st Century” Symposium was held recently at Yale University. The purpose of the symposium was to bring together individuals who are leaders in their fields and discuss issues surrounding the nation's drinking water.
The conference was conducted by Stephen Edberg, Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Yale's School of Medicine, Menachem Elimelech, Professor and Chair of the Chemical Engineering Department and Environmental Engineering Program at Yale's School of Engineering & Applied Science, and Dr. John Sinnott, Associate Dean and Professor at the Infectious Disease and International Medicine Department of the University of South Florida.
Drinking water issues are, and will continue to be, of the utmost importance for public health officials, medical practitioners, patients with special needs, and more.
